You’ll have to forgive me the pun… Ever since Miss Berry issued her weekly blogger challenge… I’ve known it was going to be Hepburn. Had to be Hepburn. With the help of the always fabulous Tres Beau Dress Store I was able to throw together a look PDQ I think… not bad! So, naturally, The use of Mayfair in my pun required a visit to my favorite shopping sim.
I just love going to Mayfair… the architecture is fantastic and they’ve done a beautiful job allowing you to feel like you’re in the high society side of town doing some upscale shopping… and the vendors there do not disappoint! I wandered around for quite a while, striking poses and throwing lights around for the better part of an hour, which drew quite a few onlookers… but that’s okay, I don’t hate the lime light!
Here’s a funny little snippit… so, I’m horrible about accessories. I LOVE them, but I tend to find two or three accessories I love, and just wearing them with everything. Starting a blog showing off outfits I decided….yeah, should probably mix it up a bit. However, my collection of bags is horribly scarce (Working on that!). The above picture is actually Maitreya’s bag from her shoe shop… it’s damn cute, and I have no shame in toting it around! I got that bag today when I was picking up these flip flops:
Would you believe that’s my first pair of flip flops in SL? No joke, there… but it’s ironic as as soon as it stops snowing RL I’m wearing those babies. Love my flip flops. Anyhow… a few more shots before I divulge the details of the outfit. I really love shooting in Mayfair… the urban feel is hard to pull off without a sim getting too laggy – but they do a great job of it! It’s nice to get out of the woods once in while.
